I wrote this eulogy for my mother-in-law about two weeks before she passed. Thankfully she got to read this and hopefully understand my deep love for her. I wanted to post it here today because like all of us who lose a loved one, I miss her.

My mother-in-law’s name is Joan. She is sixty-three years old and dying prematurely from ALS. She is in the final stages of this relentless disease which has taken away among many other things: the usage of her loving arms and kind hands, the ability for her to voice her love for us beyond a labored whisper on her rare “good” days, her ferocious dignity to live out her days mothering us instead of us taking care of her, and my time to tell her how I feel. TIME TO EXPLORE AND RESTORE

Time to Restore and Explore

Beyond thrilled to be headed to Kripalu this week to learn some new coaching techniques, try my hand at Kundalini yoga, and relax my mind, body and spirit. This past year has been a whirlwind with so many wonderful surprises and manifestations of hard heart work. Taking some much needed time to restore and explore is just what the universe ordered. I am looking forward to sharing what I learn with all of my clients. I have a feeling that 2016 is going to be an abundant year full of light and love for everyone. All you have to do is believe. Miracles are all around you.

YOU ARE READY TO FLY

IMG_0161How about if I told you that you are ready to fly right now? Would it give you peace if you trusted where you were going? You were born with everything you need to do exactly what you were put here to do. Trust your inner voice. Everything is predestined. You are uniquely you. There is no need to try and control the outcome. Let it happen. Trust where you are and know that if it feels right with your soul- it is right for your life. Stay where you shine the brightest, and you will never question your direction. When your wings get heavy, turn your entitlement into humility and your ambition into meaning…and FLY!
