New Author Amy Pecic visits Keeping It Real with Denna to discuss how bullying affected her life as a child, a teen, and an adult. She’ll walk us through how she overcame this long term abuse and why she decided to write a book about her experiences and life lessons.
Long-time friends, Amy and Denna have an intimate discussion on the topic of bullying. You’ll get to know about Amy’s childhood and learn why her family moved to a small town in Pennsylvania. She opens up about being persistently and relentlessly bullied in the community and talks about how her father’s job was really the root of her family’s harassment. You’ll even hear the story of Amy reaching her breaking point as a young child, her first time publically opening up about what happened.
But the story doesn’t end here. In our upcoming episodes, Amy continues to reveal how bullying affected her life as a teen and even as an adult. Learn how she’s overcome this abuse and turned her life lessons into an empowering book to help others struggling with the same thing.
