“HAPPY” NEW YEAR PEOPLE!

smiley
How many of you are as confused as I am about the customary New Year’s Eve song, “Auld Lang Syne” which kind of rambles on about remembering people from our past? Are we supposed to be sad that they are gone or happy they left? I guess it depends on the situation, but to me, the song is just a wee bit depressing. I don’t know about you, but when I was single, I wanted to jump off a cliff when that Scottish tune came on.

The new year is supposed to be HAPPY and full of glee. This year I will be listening to Bob Marley’s lyrics to , “Don’t Worry be Happy.” I took the liberty of putting them hear for you.

PODCAST 2: PART 2 OF OUR TALK ON FATHERLESS DAUGHTERS

Is it Tuesday already? Time for Podcast number 2. We had such a good time doing a three part series on “Fatherless Daughters.” Our guests, Stacy Galan and Natalie Demarko really shared their souls on the podcast. The three of us bantered back and forth covering everything from dating to coping mechanisms. There were plenty of laughs, a smidge of b.s…. here and there… ( I mean I am the host;-) and a whole lot of good vibes & information given out. The feedback has been validating. Our tribe of fatherless daughters have really resonated with the series. Give us your feedback. We want to hear from you. We are here to tell real stories, give real talk, and to deliver real inspiration week after week..  image003

THE PODCAST: KEEPING IT REAL WITH DENNA!

denna_podcastI am so excited to announce my new podcast “Keeping it Real with Denna.” This has been a cosmic gift. A few months ago I did a radio show on fatherless daughters. Upon leaving the show, the producer asked me if I had ever thought about doing my own podcast. I said, “Ummmm, yes. In fact, I was just talking about it with my sister-in-law on the phone before I came into the show today.” He then graciously offered to help me produce my own show! Watch out world… I have a mic!

Now anyone who knows me knows that I live to analyze people and their situations. I come across so many interesting people who are doing extraordinary things with their lives. I wanted a show where I could get into their heads and figure out what the pinnacle moment was in their lives that made them decide to do something different…something that mattered. Read more

CLARITY EQUALS ALIGNMENT

I had the pleasure of attending one of Esther Hicks wildly popular events yesterday on the Law of Attraction. Her entire message is about looking forward in your life. Setting your intentions to align with your hearts desires. She is a master at holding her own positive frequency which allows her continue to attract what she wants and believes for herself in her life. I took a few notes to help you did into the vortex of receiving.

  1. Be receptive. Once an idea comes form a realization, the process is underway. Believe it will come.
  2. Fear about something means you have a differing opinion about it in your being. The feeling of fear arises when you are in complete opposition of what you hearts desires.
  3. You did not do all the work in your life to manifest failure. While in transition in the parts of your life that you really want, continue to believe. Stay in it. Wait for the reward. Don’t decide to fail in the middle before it can come to fruition. Believe it will. WOW! You may need to read this one again. It is a good one.

THE EULOGY I WANTED MY MOTHER-IN-LAW TO HEAR BEFORE SHE DIED

FullSizeRender

I wrote this eulogy for my mother-in-law about two weeks before she passed. Thankfully she got to read this and hopefully understand my deep love for her. I wanted to post it here today because like all of us who lose a loved one, I miss her.

My mother-in-law’s name is Joan. She is sixty-three years old and dying prematurely from ALS. She is in the final stages of this relentless disease which has taken away among many other things: the usage of her loving arms and kind hands, the ability for her to voice her love for us beyond a labored whisper on her rare “good” days, her ferocious dignity to live out her days mothering us instead of us taking care of her, and my time to tell her how I feel. TIME TO EXPLORE AND RESTORE

Time to Restore and Explore

Beyond thrilled to be headed to Kripalu this week to learn some new coaching techniques, try my hand at Kundalini yoga, and relax my mind, body and spirit. This past year has been a whirlwind with so many wonderful surprises and manifestations of hard heart work. Taking some much needed time to restore and explore is just what the universe ordered. I am looking forward to sharing what I learn with all of my clients. I have a feeling that 2016 is going to be an abundant year full of light and love for everyone. All you have to do is believe. Miracles are all around you.

YOU ARE READY TO FLY

IMG_0161How about if I told you that you are ready to fly right now? Would it give you peace if you trusted where you were going? You were born with everything you need to do exactly what you were put here to do. Trust your inner voice. Everything is predestined. You are uniquely you. There is no need to try and control the outcome. Let it happen. Trust where you are and know that if it feels right with your soul- it is right for your life. Stay where you shine the brightest, and you will never question your direction. When your wings get heavy, turn your entitlement into humility and your ambition into meaning…and FLY!
