Actress and TV host Kate Lord returns to Keeping It Real with Denna to reveal how she overcame tragic family loss. Kate opens up about her mother’s death to cancer and how she found a way to work through losing both of her parents just one year a part.
This week, Kate bravely discusses the tragedy of losing her mother to lung cancer just a year after losing her father to suicide. After both of these losses, Kate knew she needed to take care of herself and find a way to heal. She believes it’s important to be strong mentally, physically, and spiritually. She’ll reveal how therapy helped her achieve these strengths and helped her move through her emotional damage. Hear about her grieving process and about what helped her to not only survive, but to move on with her life with purpose.
